How do I start a round?
Open the Play tab, add 2–8 players, pick a starting buy-in (tap a preset or type any amount), choose a game style and whether the pot rolls over on ties, then tap Start round. Tap the winner of each hole, or Tie if it's a halve.
What are the two game styles?
What's "pot rollover"?
With rollover on, a tied hole carries the pot into the next hole and bumps the ladder. With it off, a tie is a push — no money moves and the ladder resets to the base.
How is the buy-in calculated?
Each rung is your base buy-in times the classic Fibonacci sequence (1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89…). All money is tracked in exact cents — FibonacciGolf only keeps score; it never processes real payments.
How do I add friends?
Sign in with Apple on the Profile tab, then open Friends. Search a friend by email and send a request, or share an invite link — opening it on a signed-in device connects you both. Friends and invites require iCloud.
How does a shared (live) game work?
When starting a round, turn on Share this game with the group to get a join code. Everyone with the app and iCloud enters the code to follow the same live game, with "who won the hole" notifications. Testing it takes two devices, each signed into a different iCloud account.
I shared a round — can the other person change my copy?
No. A shared round becomes an independent copy in their app. They can edit it freely and it won't change yours. It's for fun banter, not live sync.
How do I sign out or delete my account?
On the Profile tab: Sign out disconnects Sign in with Apple but keeps your saved rounds; Delete account removes your profile and friend connections from iCloud and resets your profile. See our Privacy Policy for details.
I deleted a round by accident.
Deleted rounds go to a Trash for 14 days — open Rounds, switch to Trash, and restore it.
